  • Swami Vivekanand Birth anniversary was celebrated by organising a lecture on the topic Swami
    Vivekanand life principles on 12.01 24 by Swami Vivekanand cell of NSS in collaboration with
    department of History.
  • VEER Bal Diwas was celebrated on 22.12.23 by organising Shabad recitation by department of
    Music in collaboration with Punjabi department.
  • The constitution day was celebrated on 25.11.23 by organising an inter- College poster making
    competition by department of political sciences.
  • National Girl C child Day was celebrated on 11.10.23 through organising an awareness Rally by
    English department of GMN College.
  • National sports day was celebrated on 29.8.23 by physical education department of GMN
    College.
  • 77 th independence day was celebrated on 15 th August,2023 in GMN college premises.
  • An inter-college competition was jointly organized by GMN College Ambala Cantt. and Indian Science Congress Rohtak on the occasion of World Wildlife Day on 3 March, 2023.

  • Hindi Divas is celebrated every year in the college on 14 September, 2022 to celebrate the adoption of Hindi as the official language of India.
  • 16th September, 2022 was designated by the United Nations as the International Day for the preservation of the Ozone layer. This day is also celebrated in the college on 16th September with full enthusiasm.
  • Unity Day is celebrated on 31 October, 2022 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
  • Dept. of English in collaboration with NSS Units of the college celebrated World Disability Day on 3 December by planting sapling at various places.
  • Women Cell, Commerce and Arts Faculty celebrated Lohri festival.

  • To create awareness about cleanliness National Cleanliness Day is celebrated every year in the college.
  • International Women’s Day is celebrated every year with great pomp and show on 8 March. Different competitions like Rangoli, Mehndi, Cooking and declamation etc. were organized on that day.
