Activities

Session 2024-25

• Red ribbon club celebrated World AIDS day on 30^th Nov. 2024 with the collaboration of an NGO “Drops of change” by organising a poster making competition on AIDS awareness. A rally was also conducted followed by making a human chain in Red Ribbon symbol.
• A three days free eye screening camp was organised in college campus from 6^th Dec. 2024 to 8^th Dec. 2024 with the association of G.M.N. College of Nursing and L. J. Eye institute, Ambala City. An MOU was also signed between both the institutions.
• 4 students and 2 nodal officers of RRC participated in training about awareness of HIV, TB and HIV & AIDS Prevention and control Act, 2017 at Kingfisher hotel, Ambala City on 17^th Jan. 2025.
• Red Ribbon Club with the collaboration of L J  Eye Institute, Ambala City organised a free eye check up camp in an adopted village Nanhera, Ambala Cantt. on 20^th April 2025.

Session 2025-26

• Organized Poster making and slogan writing Competition on theme “HIV/ AIDS on 29.08.2025.
• Organized Awareness Campaign for National Toll free Helpline no. and NACO Aids app on 13.08.2025.
• Conducted Symbolic Promotion Activity: Chain for Support to create awareness regarding HIV/ AIDS on 01.09.2025.
• Organized a Rally for awareness of HIV/ AIDS on 01.09.2025.
• Organized Debate Competition on HIV on 04.09.2025.
• Organized Awareness session on HIV on 08.09.2025.
• Blood Donation Camp on 09.10.2025.
