Department of Managment

Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantt. affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra offers a three year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) graduate degree course in the Department of Management which aims to provide quality education to the students. The course structure has been designed in order to meet the ever changing needs of the industry. The well qualified, skilled, experienced and dedicated faculty helps in providing exposure in both theoretical and practical concepts to the students which contributes in generating and enhancing the student skills required in competing the today’s modern and competitive world. The academic knowledge is provided to the students through modern teaching methodologies which help in easier and better understanding of the course concepts among the students. The availability of enriched and well stocked library facility has always been a platform for the students to gain diverse knowledge in their field. The computer and internet facility available also helps in enhancing the skills and knowledge of the students. The provision of industrial training programme in the course curriculum bridges the gap between industry and academics which provides the practical know how and the skills essential for becoming successful in the corporate sector. Specialized guidance is provided to the students in preparing research projects. In addition to academics, students are also given a platform to the explore their hidden potential through special programmes in personality development, quizzes, debates, extempore, seminars, industrial visits, cultural fests, sports, computer literacy etc. which are organized at regular intervals. The placement cell provides support and assistance to the students in providing job opportunities through campus / joint campus / off campus drives at regular intervals. Career Awareness Programmes are also conducted for the students wherein knowledge about major career opportunities available is imparted to the students. The students are also motivated to pursue for higher post graduate courses available after graduation.
