IGNOU Study Centre at G.M.N. College, Ambala Cantt. organized Induction Day programme on 30 Sept, 2018. Dr. Savita Pawar, Joint Director of IGNOU Regional Centre was the Chief Guest of the
occasion. Dr. Raj Pal Singh gave a floral welcome to the guest. A rally was also taken out by the IGNOU Students on the theme of “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”. Volunteers from NSS also participated in the
rally.

After that, Dr. Pawar introduced the students with the courses and programmes offered by IGNOU. She said that those students who cannot finish their studies due some reasons can take benefit of the
IGNOU study system. Dr. Anju Jain, Coordinator, IGNOU, motivated the students to take part in the government sponsored schemes and also to log on to the IGNOU website for more details. Dr. A.P

Community Computer Centre of the college conducted one day workshop for IGNOU learners on how to access IGNOU website. Queries of the students were also handled related to website.
