Two Nukkad Natak was organized by the NSS Unit of Gandhi
Memorial National College, Ambala Cantt in his adopted
villages Ugra and Nanhera,Ambala in which the country and
society were made aware about the conservation of nature.
Through these street plays, A message was shared for using
paper envelopes and cloth bags instead of polythene. The
NSS volunteers made a strong appeal to the public not to use
plastic cups, glasses etc. by staging 'Nukkad Natak'. Program
Officer Dr. Dharamveer Saini said that the use of plastic is
fatal for our physical system. Dr. Anish said that we must
have a physical relationship with nature. On this occasion
Principal Dr. Rajpal Singh while congratulating the NNS Unit
said that this effort of the volunteers of the college is
commendable. Our students always raise social issues. The
theme of the play is expedient as well as relevant.
