Talent Hunt Competition 2019

Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantt. Report for 13th -14th september. Talent Hunt Competition was organised by G.M.N College, Ambala Cantt. on 13th and 14th September, 2019. The programme began with the lightening of the ceremonial lamp and welcome speech by our honourable principal Dr. Rajpal Singh. He emphasised on the importance of giving the right platform to the students to showcase their talent and build confidence. Students of 1st year actively participated in different events such as Quiz, Debate, Speech Competition, Painting, Monoacting, Mimicry, Poetry, etc. Hundreds of student of were present in audience to motivate and cheer for these participants. Day 2 begin with the jugalbandi of Indian and Western musical instruments. Other events included different forms of Dancing and Singing. Team of Harmandeep Singh, Arshdeep Singh and Arshit secured 1st place in Quiz, team of Madhu Singh, Aashika and Shubham stood 2nd and 3rd place was secured by team of Lalit, Naazreema and Anjali. In debate Jasdeep & Saurabh stood 1st, Ajay Kumar & Anmol stood 2nd. In Speech competition first place was secured by Ajay and second place was won by Anmol. In painting 1st, 2nd and 3rd place were secured by Vishal, Tanvi and Madhu respectively. Dr. Rajpal Singh also highlighted how these cultural activities are very important to inculcate moral values in our students and also help in their all-round development. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Punia. This event was successfully organised under the supervision of Dr. Rajender and Dr K.K. Punia. On this occasion Dr. Sudarshan Gasso, Dr. Bindal, Dr. Anju Jai, Dr. V. K. Jain, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Seema Rana and Dr. Pandey were also present.
