SPEECH COMPETITION ON 31st OCT 2019
Speech Competition was organized by Department of Commerce in collaboration
with The Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd on 31 st Oct,2019. Theme of the Speech
Competition was – “Integrity – A Way of Life.” The aim of this competition was
to propagate the awareness of ill – effects of corruption amongst the students. The
duration of the speech was 5 minutes. 11 students participated in this speech
competition.
The competition was judged by the panel of three jury members. Jury Committee
comprised of Mr. J.S. Kalsi (from The Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd.), Mr. Satish
Katyal (from The Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd.), Ms. Priyanka Soni (from the
Department of Commerce) to ensure the fair judgement of the performance. It was
really hard for the judges to decide the winners.
The Result was:
First Prize – Navalpreet Kaur [B.Com (Hons.) I]
Second Prize – Khushboo Sharma [B.Com (Hons.) III]
Third Prize – Taranpreet Singh [B.Com (CAV) I]
Special Prize:
1. Kartik [B.Com (General) II]
2. Kajal Saini [B.Com (General) I]
The speeches of the students were very informative and students were very
confident. It was indeed an informative session.
