PROGRAMME REPORT SPECIAL LECTURE ON THE TOPIC CAREER OPTIONS AFTER GRADUATION Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantonment organized a special lecture on the topic “Job Opportunities for Students after Graduation” by the Career Counseling and Guidance Cell of the college under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rohit Dutt. Resource Person, Shri Ramchandra Poonia in Development and Panchayat Department, Government of Haryana participated as the keynote speaker in this program. Who has a long experience of career counseling work for the last 40 years, and is also associated with training programs in rural development for a long time. Dr. KK Punia and Dr. Anuradha welcomed the chief speaker by giving him flowers on reaching the college premises. Keynote speaker Dr. Ramchandra Poonia made the students aware of various career options in very simple language. He also discussed in detail with the students how to face difficult questions with confidence during the interview. Shri Poonia stated that there are tremendous opportunities of job for students in various sectors after graduation and the students should learn to tap these opportunities for Career development. College Principal Dr. Rohit Dutt, while expressing his gratitude to the chief guest, congratulated all the professors of the department for successfully organizing the seminar. He said that this seminar will prove useful in helping the students to make the right choices for their career. Dr. Dutt said that organizing such seminars increases skills and knowledge among the students and inculcates a sense of self-confidence in them. Dr. KK Poonia, Department of Public Aid, coordinator of this seminar, said that the main objective of this program is to provide transparency in their knowledge to the students in an easy and simple form and to make them aware about various career options to get a job in future.The stage was successfully conducted by Dr. KK Poonia and the vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Neha. In this program Dr. KK Punia, Dr. Anuradha, Madam Upinder Kaur, Dr. Neha Aggarwal, Madam Udita and Madam Jasmita along with graduate students were present.
