Screening of ‘The Merchant of Venice’ Movie
English Department of G.M.N College, Ambala Cantt. organised a movie screening of ‘The
Merchant of Venice’ based on the play by William Shakespeare on 20 th Feb. 2020. The play
is prescribed in the syllabus of B.A.III year. Principal of the college, Dr. Rajpal Singh was
also present on the occasion to motivate the students. He said that this type of activities make
learning fun for students and also enhance their knowledge. 73 students of B.A.IIIrd year
were present to see the movie. Mrs. Kamlesh and Dr. Anshu organized the whole event under
the supervision of Dr. Geeta Salwan and Dr. Anju Jain. Dr. Amit, Dr. Neena and Dr. Nishtha
were also present on the occasion.
