Sanitation Drive by NSS
One day Sanitation Drive was organized by NSS on 30th August, 2019 in collaboration with Sant Nirankari Mission, Ambala Cantt. Around 100 NSS volunteers along with Sant Nirakari Sewa volunteers participated in this drive. The volunteers along with NSS Programme Officers Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Shikha Jaggi and Dr. Rajendra started the drive at 9:30 AM from G.M.N College, Ambala Cantt. Creating awareness regarding cleanliness, NSS volunteers along with officers conducted a rally from G.M.N. College, Ambala Cantt. to Sant Nirankari Bhawan, Ambala Cantt. Dr. Geeta Salwan, Dr. Anju Jain, Dr. Saroj, Dr. Parvesh, Dr. C.P. Poonia, Sh. Brijesh and Sh. Moudgil encouraged the volunteers. The volunteers worked for about 4 hours in the campus of Sant Nirankari Bhawan, Ambala Cantt. Volunteers cleared the weeds and dried leaves from the huge lawns of Sant Nirankari Bhawan, Ambala Cantt. Sant Nirakari Sewa volunteers also helped the NSS volunteers. Later, volunteers enjoyed refreshment at Sant Nirankari Bhawan, Ambala Cantt.
