Road Safety Programme

Under the direction of Principal Dr. Rajpal Singh in the premises of Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantonment and under the leadership of Dr. Chandrapal Punia, Nodal Officer Road Safety Club, students and teachers are informed about the rules of road safety was given . Giving information about this program, Dr. Chandrapal Punia, Nodal Officer of Road Safety Club said that this program was organized on the instructions of Ministry of Roads and Transport, Government of India and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, on the subject of Road Safety- Life was saved. In this program, the Deputy Inspector of Haryana Police, Anil Kumar informed the students and teachers about the rules of road safety. He told that we should follow all the rules of traffic. The helmet must be used while riding the bike and there should not be more than two persons on the bike. Seat belts must be used while driving a car. No one should use a mobile phone while driving a car or bike. Anil Kumar told that if an accident happens on the road and we see it, then we should inform the police immediately. This type of information can save someone's life. On this occasion, students posed many questions which Anil Kumar explained with meaningful examples. On this occasion, members of Road Safety Club, Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Dr. Kuldeep Yadav and Dr. Krishna Kumar Poonia, Dr. Rakesh and Dr. Pravesh as well as NSSS officer Dr. Dharmaveer Saini, Dr. Anish And Dr. Saroj was present. At the end of the program, all students and teachers were sworn to follow traffic rules. A total of 112 students attended this program.
