Panel Discussion was organised on the topic “Role of Media in Election”, by Department of Political Science, Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantt. The seminar was sponsored by Prof. Vir Sen Vinay Malhotra Trust (Regd.), Ambala Cantt (Haryana). The programme was started with the floral welcome of the Chief Guest Dr. Vinay Kumar Malhotra and other members of the trust Sh. K.L. Sehgal, Senior Advocate and Vice President of the trust, Sh. Sunil Luthra Founder Trustee.
During the panel discussion Dr. V.K. Malhotra, Dr. Ashok Chaudhary, Dr. Ramesh Madaan, Sh. K. L. Sehgal and Dr. S.S. Nain performed the rule of panelist. The other members of the trust were also present. All the penelist expressed their views on this burning issue one by one.
After the panel discussion the house was open for question answer round many students and faculty members participated very actively. After this presidential remarks were given by Dr. V.K. Malhotra. The panel discussion ended with vote of thanks by Dr. S.S. Nain and the guests were honoured with mementos. During the discussion other faculty members of the department i.e. Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Saroj Bala, Mr. Parvesh Kumar and Dr. Tripti Sharma were present.
