NATIONAL WEBINAR ON, “CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR FIANL YEAR COMMERCE"

Department of Management in collaboration with Department of Commerce of GMN College,
Ambala Cantt organized National Webinar on the topic, “Career Opportunities for final year
commerce & management students” on 30 th June, 2021 in which there were 250 participants. The
event started with welcome speech by Convener of the webinar, Dr.Ravneet kaur, where she
welcomed the key note speaker Prof.B.S.Bodla, Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Management,
Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and extended warm greetings for gracing the event. She
also extended hearty welcome to all the delegates, teachers, students who joined from various
colleges and institutes.
After that Dr.Amita, Organizing Secretary of the Webinar invited worthy Principal Sir Dr.Raj
Pal Singh to extend formal welcome to our key note speaker Prof.B.S.Bodla and after that she
presented the theme of the webinar. Afterwards our worthy key note speaker had an interactive
session with participants in which they emphasized how students should prepare themselves for
grabbing these opportunities and for earning a job, right direction, right knowledge and how you
are presenting yourself counts in external job market.
Lastly Dr.Bharti Vij, HOD, Management proposed a formal vote of thanks and congratulated the
entire organizing team of management and commerce department. During this webinar, Dr.Anju
Jain, (Co-ordinator, IQAC), Dr.V.K.Jain (HOD, Commerce) and other senior staff members
were also present.
