National Youth Day: A report of extension lecture on 12/01/2021
The department of Political Science, G M N College, Ambala Cantt. Organised an extension lecture on,”The ideas of Swami Vivekananda”, Dr. Sandhya Gautam, Associate Professor, Department of Hindi, Arya Girls College, Ambala Cantt. delivered the lecture as keynote speaker.
The programme was started with the welcome to the Guest by Dr. V K Jain. Dr. Gautam in her address emphasised on the various dimension of Swami ji philosophy. She mentioned the spiritual journey of Swami Vivekanand. She explained the important shift from Narender to Vivekanand to Swami Vivekanand. She also discussed the nationalistic approach of Vivekanand and motivated the students of the college.
At the occasion Dr. S S Nain, Dr. Krishan Punia, Dr. Rakesh Kumar and Dr. Saroj Bala also presented their views. Dr. Parvesh conducted the stage and delivered vote of thanks to the keynote speaker. 80 students attended the lecture.
