Science Day Celebration at G.M.N. College
Report of Science Day Celebrations
Science Day was celebrated in GMN College Ambala Cantt on 29-02-
2020. To commemorate the occasion, a powerpoint presentation was
organized on the theme “Physics: Concepts and Applications” by
Physics department of the college. Dr. Raj Pal Singh, Principal ,
GMN college encouraged students to work hard and motivated them
to observe science in everyday life. He gave alecture on “Basic
Physics”in which he highlighted the importance of physics in various
spheres of life. Dr. S. K. Pandey, HoD Physics, gave alecture on
Ënergy Conservation and solar cells”. The students gave detailed
presentations on various topics related to Physics including Pure and
applied Physics. Tamanna, Sahil and Sheetal bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd
postitions respectively. Dr. s.k. Pandey and Dr. niyti contributed
immensely to this function.
