PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR NON-TEACHING

The Department of Computer Science at GMN College organized a professional Development
Program (PDP)focused on data analysis using MS-Excel. The event, held on February 3, 2024,
targeted the non-teaching staff of the college. 18 non-teaching staff members participated in this
PDP.
Dr. Surjeet Singh, Associate Professor, served as the esteemed resource person, enlightening
participants on various formulas and functions crucial for creating effective worksheets. The
PDP aimed to enhance the data analysis skills of the non-teaching staff, providing them with
valuable insights into the practical applications of MS-Excel.
During the event, Dr. Seema Kansal, Officiating Principal, expressed her heartfelt
congratulations to the staff members for the successful execution of the professional
Development Program. The initiative underscores GMN College's commitment to continuous
learning and professional development.
Ms. Upinder Kaur, Head of the Department of Computer Science, and Ms. Neelam were present
at the occasion, adding their support and encouragement to the participants. The collaborative
effort of the college's leadership and faculty contributed to the overall success of this educational
endeavor.
