The programme started with the formal welcome of the chief guests. At the beginning of the program, Dr. Rohit Dutt, Principal, Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantt said that Mahatma Gandhi was not the main leader of the Indian National Movement. Rather, it was due to his inspiration that the movements going on against the British rule in the world were inspired and everyone got success against the British Imperialism. Professor Amarjit Singh, Keynote Speaker of this national seminar explored in his speech that Mahatma Gandhi and his ideology could not be understated easily because he changed his perception as per the time of need. Gandhi was such a leader of the Indian National Movement who completely shook the roots of the British Raj on which the sun never set in the world. That too without any weapon, gun etc. He said that we can explain Mahatma Gandhi in three phases. First, when he formed yourself on the basis of principles of Bhawat Gita. Send and third he applied his methods in practical way mean in Indian national movement. The tools they adopted in the Indian National Movement. As a result, the Indian National Movement got a new direction and the Indian National Movement reached its peak. Satyagraha, non-violence, non-tax non-cooperation, these were his methods which always took the Indian national movement forward against the British. As a result, after the Quit India Movement of 1942, the British realized that now is the time to leave India. The time has come that India will have to be given independence. On the other hand, Gandhiji always talked about making of a new nation which was self-reliant. He believed that Indians could not get freedom until there was public participation in the Indian National Movement. That is why he used to ensure the participation of every class in the national movement, as in the Civil Disobedience Movement of 1930, women had participated in large numbers and in the Quit India Movement of 1942, all classes had participated in large numbers, and the roots of the British Government of India. was completely hollowed out. Which is based on equality, where women are respected, where there is no economic inequality, so along with the national movement; he used to solve all these problems so that a strong India could be built after independence.
