An extention lecture was organized by Sexual Harrasement Committee of GMN College on 29 January, 2021. Dr Vandana Dave, Women Studies Research Centre, KU.K was cordially invited to deliver the lecture. Dr.Vandana emphasiszed upon those rules and regulations as prescribed under the guidelines to ensure prevention of sexual harassment of women at workplace. She elaborately discussed the Complaint Mechanisms and Working of Complaint Committee.
Dr Vandana also shed light on the role of other support services of a counsellor in tackling sensitive cases. Further, a brief interactive session was held where questions raised by students were answered adequately. At the end, vote of thanks was proposed by Dr.Bharti and Dr.Anupama Sihag.
